Your wedding day is coming up, and everything is going well. You have all of the favours sorted, and the bridesmaids are (finally) happy with their dresses. Your parents are finally happy with the seating plan, and you are counting down the sleeps. We reckon that these are the things that you should be thinking about if you want to make sure that your wedding day goes problem-free:
1. Wedding dress.
Obviously, this one is for the ladies. Many people order their wedding dresses months, or even years before the date when they will actually get married, and an awful lot can change during that time. You should probably try on your dress about a week before the big day, so that any alterations (if necessary) can be made.
2. Wear your shoes in.
Men: listen up. This goes for you as well you would be amazed just how many guys buy new shoes for their wedding day, and find that the leather is not so forgiving on brand new heels. Make sure that you patter around the house in them for a few hours every day.
3. Double and triple check the weather.
If only it would stop changing! Try and have contingency plans for the main ones, including wellies and brollies for rain, and suncream for a hot day. The last thing you want is a nice wedding burn.
4. Pack for your honeymoon.
This should be fun! You may not need that many clothes, but you’ll definitely need things like chargers, passport if you’re going abroad ñ and a nice lot of money to treat yourselves with.
5. Speak to your Chauffeur
Your transport is the start of your magical journey, so give your chauffeur a call and check that everything is organised. Let them know if there is anything specific that you would like, and get ready for the best day of your life!
