There’s nothing better than a hot summers day with horsepower and the crowd rising in your ears. The Silverstone F1 Grand Prix is a petrolhead heavenly destination. Not just for the race but for the atmosphere, the stands the entire exhibition.
What we have here is a lost of things you may want to consider when you plan your next trip to the Silverstone Grand Prix.
“Your name’s not down your not coming in” remember that phrase well you really don’t want to hear it before you get in so PLEASE DON’T FORGET YOUR TICKETS. We’ve driven many people to the event and just to take them straight back home again as they haven’t got their tickets. Or some of them have forked out the door price again…
Don’t forget you may need your tickets/passes throughout the day so a handy lanyard is helpful these can be purchased inside the grounds and if we know the exhibitors we know they’ll be some whacky range to choose from.
I know it may not look it but ear plug/defenders are probably advisable if you’re close to the action or have sensitive hearing…. no one want s to cry off after Lap 6 with a migraine, which reminds me Water, make sure you drink lots especially on a hot day.
If you want to take photos use a separate camera not your phone. A proper camera should be used for your photos as phones can then not be drained of battery within 5 laps. Plus you’ll want to tell your mates later how good it was. Remember if you are stuck in a field full of other fans there’s not many places to charge your phone!!!
There is a few other things to think about, like wet weather. If that happens you could do with a pacamac, umbrella, wellies, wet wipes…. don’t ask you just may need them. If you know it’s going to be a rather nasty weather event bring a change of clothes for the car journey home sounds excessive but you’ll be thankful of it when your stuck on the motorway with others in the same boat.
Consider this a list of t hings to take to Silverstone.
