1: They’re expensive!
If you hire a Maybach or a Rolls Royce then YES it will be more than your local pickup from the pub, then again you do pay for what you get. You may get a good service but will you get a good professional and prompt service?
2: You have to be a member of the board?

3: Chauffeurs only do weddings?

If you take a local taxi firm they may turn up in slightly older rattly saloon that has that certain-only-to-be-found-in-taxi’s smell. That’s why it cheaper the overheads are somewhat lower.
